Zellie’s has always been committed to offering the purest xylitol-based gums, mints and candies available anywhere. Our supply chain is closely managed every step of the way and we are proud to produce our products here in the United States and in Canada. In 2014, we took our commitment one step further by eliminating titanium dioxide, an ingredient no longer necessary in our production process. And as we always have done and unlike most other gums available, we produce our products without adding glycerin.

Zellie’s products also meet strict vegan, kosher and diabetic dietary requirements.

  • Zellie’s Gum is processed in a facility that also processes soy and therefore may contain traces of soy.

Our Gum

Xylitol

Zellie's gum contains 1.0 grams of xylitol in each piece. We use only non-GMO pharmaceutical-grade xylitol tested multiple times for purity.

Gum Base

Zellie's gum base is of the highest food-grade quality and meets all FDA standards. The gum base is used to hold ingredients together. There is no BHT in our gum base.

Sunflower Lecithin

To help mix the ingredients together, we use non-GMO sunflower lecithin as an emulsifying agent. Many other gums use genetically modified soy lecithin.

Natural Flavors

Our flavorings are derived from natural, non-GMO sources. Using the purest and best-tasting flavors is always our priority.

Gum Arabic

We use gum arabic to help the ingredients stick together. It is sourced from the acacia tree.

Carnauba Wax

Zellie's gum is coated with carnauba wax to seal in the ingredients and protect the gym from humidity. Carnauba wax comes from the leaves of the Brazillian carnauba palm plant.

Xylitol

Zellie's mints contain 0.5 grams of xylitol in each mint. We use only non-GMO pharmaceutical-grade xylitol tested multiple times for purity.

Magnesium Stearate

Magnesium stearate aids in the compression of the xylitol so it holds its shape in a mint tablet form. Our magnesium stearate is sources from vegetables and is non-GMO

Citric Acid/Malic Acid

We use less than .5% citric and malic acid in our Cool Fruit Mints for that mouth-watering, mouth-puckering taste. Both are derived from plant sources and are non-GMO.

Stearic Acid

Stearic acid keeps xylitol from sticking to manufacturing equipment. It is one of the most common long-chain fatty acids. We source ours from non-GMO vegetable sources.

Natural Menthol

Natural Menthol comes from mint plants. It is used to create the breath-freshening, cooling effect in our mints.

Cellulose Gum

Zellie's using non-GMO cellulose gum to help bind ingredients together. Cellulose gum is used extensively in gluten-free and reduced-fat food products.

Zellie's uses bamboo fibers to bind xylitol together to make a harder tablet with anti-caking properties.

Silica is a common additive in the production of foods. It is primarily used to prevent unwanted clumping.
